Walking around our cities it becomes quickly apparent that the there is a strong tendency towards homogeneity in terms of social mix in the urban realm. I made a TEDX Talk looking at this by asking the question “What makes a good city for everyone?”

Article on pages 38-39 “The Spaces in between” looks at strategic approaches to using the spaces ‘in between’ in regard to social inclusion and integrated climate change initiatives.
Page 43, illustrates an interesting case, creating social inclusion through urban design in the forth-coming creative business district in Aarhus Southern Harbour. There are opportunities to think synergies between UN SDG’s in this case particularly 3 & 13
